Yeah, it is pretty amazing. Magic really, that you can reach people with about 100 watts of power. I’ve reached people in South America and Europe!
That is awesome. Some day, I will have the time and the money to do something like this! :)
First step is to get your technician ham radio license. Have to take a simple test and then FCC issues you a call sign. Cost is about $15 to get your license.
