New Documents Show Las Vegas Gunman Did Not Act Alone

As he meticulously planned the Las Vegas attack, the man responsible for the worst mass shooting in modern American history took elaborate steps to stymie the inevitable law enforcement investigation, according to federal court documents unsealed on Friday.

Lots of new information has come out about the events leading up to the Las Vegas shooting. More questions than answers have been raised but we now know some key evidence.

First, Stephen Paddock used pre-paid encrypted cell phones to cover his tracks one of which was found at the Mandalay Bay and the FBI could not unlock.

An F.B.I. agent wrote that he believed “if there were any information related to a potential conspiracy, it would be found within”

So why would Mr. Paddock take such elaborate steps if he acted alone or was trying to protect other people that might be involved?

It's highly likely that Mr. Paddock's girlfriend was involved. Document reveal her finger prints might be on some of the ammunition used in the shooting and her facebook account was deleted hours after the shooting before Mr. Paddock was publicly identified.

“She has been identified thus far as the most likely person who aided or abetted Stephen Paddock based on her informing law enforcement that her fingerprints would likely be found on the ammunition used during the attack,” according to one of the documents.

Remember everyone including his family saying his didn't own any guns?

Ms. Danley deleted her Facebook account just hours after the attack, investigators wrote in their affidavit. At 12:30 a.m., about two-and-a-half hours after the shooting began, she changed the status of her account to private. By 2:46 a.m., she had deleted the account entirely.

Clearly she knew something was up and she was trying to cover her tracks. Looks very suspicious.

Ms. Danley’s email account could “lead investigators to determine the full scope of Stephen Paddock’s plan and Marilou Danley’s possible involvement.” The authorities also requested information about several Instagram accounts that they believed were connected to Ms. Danley.

She should be arrested just on admitting her help load some of the ammunition used in the shooting and deleting her facebook after it.

And at the very end of the story you have this jewel that looks like Paddock could have been in communions with someone else besides his girlfriend talking about guns and bumpfire stocks. A second shooter perhaps?

The F.B.I. also discovered emails between two accounts connected to Mr. Paddock.

In an email Mr. Paddock sent on July 6 to an account that also may have belonged to him, he wrote: “try an ar before u buy. we have huge selection. located in the las vegas area.” Another email sent between the accounts read, “for a thrill try out bumpfire ar’s with a 100 round magazine.” By “ar,” Mr. Paddock appeared to be referring to rifles.

Sounds like he was giving advice to someone on the best place to purchase an AR-15 and get some practice in with it before you buy.

The affidavit later adds that “investigators have been unable to figure out why Stephen Paddock would be exchanging messages related to weapons that were used in the attack between two of his email accounts,” and that it was possible that someone else was controlling one of the accounts. If that was the case, the investigator said, the F.B.I. needed to identify that person. Receiving a search warrant for that account “will lead investigators to determine the full scope of Stephen Paddock’s plan,” an F.B.I agent wrote to the judge.

Clearly there were multiple gunman in Las Vegas. In the video below you can hear loud gun fire close up and seconds later quieter gun fire in the distance. Some of it could be echos but in one part of the video you hear the quiet gun fire first than the loud gun fire and that clearly could not be an echo because the echo is always quieter than the source. The only way to make that happen is with two different guns in two different locations.

I was playing poker at the Bellagio the night of the attack. My cousin texted me saying there was an active shooter at the Mandalay Bay. About 5 minutes later, there was hysteria at the Bellagio as hundreds of people stampeded out of the hotel shouting that there was an active shooter. I didn't take any chances and ran out of the building. People were kept outside for about 30 minutes. When they let us back in, the casino area inside the building was cordoned off by security. Since I was a guest staying in the hotel, I was allowed to go to my room, but people who were not guests were taken to conference rooms and were not allowed to leave until about 4 am after the Strip was secured.

Do you think people were misinformed at the Bellagio and panicked or do you think there was another shooter there?

I don't honestly know. A lady posted this video in which she says she heard shots come through the front of the lobby at the Bellagio.

I personally didn't hear any shots, but the poker room is far away from the front entrance and casinos are pretty noisy. While I was outside waiting at a guard station next to the hotel, one man said he had been close to the snack bar and heard shots. Another man said he had also been close to the snack bar but didn't hear any shots. The first man then called over his wife/girlfriend and asked her if she had heard any shots. She said yes.

After I got to my room, I couldn't sleep so I monitored the Twitter feed because the MSM didn't have much to report. Some people were tweeting that they were listening to the police radio feed and wrote that shooters at multiple hotels on the Strip were being reported on police radio. I can't confirm anything other than what I saw and heard.

I checked out shortly before noon the following day, and didn't see any evidence of damage in the lobby. If shots were fired into the Bellagio, the damage was repaired very quickly.

Very good article

I absolutely do not recommend playing gambling.
