This is called the "no true scottsman" argument.
There are no true vegans.
It's not a thing you are, it's a set of beliefs you have and the things you do to try and express those beliefs.
When people lose sight of that, they become ideologists & zealots, instead of believers.
This is when they become the flaming radical vegan, peta, right wing, left wing whatever.
Divisiveness never works out well for anyone.
Nice job putting a good spin on the message. But do you know how many thousands of baby water melon plants had to die to make that picture? ;)
Least they weren't sea kittens though...
I don't even like to call myself vegan normally. I just say that I don't eat X and X and if someone asks about WHY I will answer but I agree when people make it their entire life/being it is unappealing.
