Veganism - A dialogue on the ideology

in #vegan7 years ago (edited)

-Before the rise of Veganism, I recall a time about 10 or more years back on the various Vegetarian movements which aimed to inspire a change of ways in the pursuit of weight loss and improvement to general health.

People then were fairly ignorant around this time(and still are), though It was pretty uncommon that you met a vegetarian in that day, usually it was the odd person trying it out for a few or several weeks on end, dieting before reverting back to their previous routine, or expecting something out of it with little change from their bodies. Most were ovo-lacto, and it wasn't like the majority hadn't already accepted scientifically that they were without shadow of a doubt "Omnivores", not having much in terms of popular alternative science resources available to convince people that anything more than their occasional steamed vegetables is not sufficient for the benefit of themselves.

This was my experience in those times anyways.

Vegetables are what we've been told since we can remember as children as the go to for what's good for us. To aid our growth, where most our essential nutrients are obtained-- all of those sayings touted by our parents and grandparents alike, then there could be no harm in eating a diet solely consisting in vegetables, right? Not a totally unreasonable stance to take in that time.

So the point of that rhetorical question is that you cannot blame people for seeing the good in the argument from generic life experience falling for the big dietitian scams not figuring out the bigger picture, and although it is the healthier choice, not everyone had a satisfying idea of how to pursue it to see results and meet expectations. Many were trying to achieve something they knew very little on how to approach, still balancing the need for other foods deemed essential.

Somewhere along the lines there came a shift in consciousness, Vegetarianism was swept under the rug, while people slowly but surely were adopting a new label for themselves as Vegans. This was a new trend coming out of the woodwork following a political statement, it wasn't emphasized majorly on dietary concerns, but one that influenced a more "uncommon" breed of people that were vocally very opposed to the large variety of animal abuse and torture being undertaken by various organizations/corporations behind closed doors in all the avenues such as product testing and factory farms.
The customers that created the demand for these practices were and still are largely removed from the actual environment where all their goods are handled and processed, leaving them majorly unaware or with no concern over these practices, but culturally in agreement to them once they are pointed out.

Veganism therefore sprung through an ideology that played into the core of the empath dominant thinker, who were a folk much more active or concerned on issues relating to animal rights than the rest of society, whom were harder to pry the thought and innate feelings and indoctrination from in this area, despite these thoughts being more present than I or many of us may have initially assumed, given the heavily influenced Cartesian opinion on the subject matter that has reigned as the standard.

After all Rene Descartes sired, if not contributed heavily to the running idea of the "Soulless" animal, which were established to not be conscious in the likeness of humans, but more as biological machines. A belief that instilled a solipsistic human experience to justify the excessive maltreatment, and testing on animals, a narrative the future would continue to build upon, with these teachings being paralleled in the church communities and maybe even scientific communities.

Looking back, much of the Animal rights protests were lead in example by PETA which took their ideologies to the extreme, ruining it for everyone. (but that's how counter intelligence works right?)

This keeps a lot of people who may see the errors of their ways end up in shackles of the illusion of being on the "right side" of the issue. A side that was justified scientifically, philosophically, religiously and traditionally in the minds of the masses.

The empath dominant thinker is more easily emotionally persuaded, and not as much rationally, therefore it is much easier for the emotional thinker to feel their intuition and even end up siding with extremist movements because they immediately speak to the individuals with that gnawing feeling where they see their fixations are largely absent concerns from others around them.

Thus many find themselves in these pockets of organizations trying to break through social norms and constructs that try to enforce a uniform consensus on a thesis that gets in the way of perceiving things in a wholesome light, by replacing this image with false limiting beliefs.

Vegan generally distinguishes itself from Vegetarian on -one- principle at large, and that is animal preservation through abstention of animal by-products.
It's not totally been about getting behind the science, or even about understanding ones body; these are developments that have come in addition to acknowledging the associated improved health factors of a growing ideology under the general notion, yes vegetables are healthy for you, but not everyone has seen the whole picture.

Many vegans opt for recreating their former food platters which they have enjoyed under omnivorous diet circumstances. Just to show people they can consume their own brand of burgers, hot dogs or even almond/Soy Milk in place of Cows Milk.

With huge emphasis on vegetables, many still consume unhealthy starches and grains as staples to their meals, meanwhile the often overlooked and sparingly treated food that may have the utmost significance in our biological diet more than people know, are fruits!

People have been masquerading as a title that doesn't open the eyes to the whole truth. Just following their intuitive feelings on how they should live and respect the living creatures we share our earth with, but it's a point of view not everyone is capable of realizing. Addressing the fundamental facts and shining away the myths become an integral part of awakening people to their cultural social engineering and ironically, Veganism has waved the flag with that social engineering, even if it has reasonably dug its roots deeper into the scientific research as its gained recent traction.

Modern society has been raised on the evolution myth, humans from apes. Yet we rarely are urged to even look at what our "supposed" relatives in the primate family are up to/consume in terms of diet. And we are taught and supposed to accept that we've evolved to follow a diet almost in the complete opposite direction!
The waters have no doubt been muddied even looking at the chimps diet as they're often generalized as "omnivorous frugivorous" species. Here at Ecologos they address these claims.

Truth is, even Herbivores can eat meat, and can do so willingly, even if its snuck into their food they can still live. In itself it is not a selling point for being an omnivore.

My favorite underground naturopath doctor (N.D) is Robert Morse! He sheds serious light and breaks down the human body simply that anyone can comprehend to know what it takes to heal themselves. Compliment this wisdom by putting in a bit more research to broaden his research.

"You are a frugivore accept it"

"Raw Truth about Fruit"

He's a Florida based practitioner and former chemist who has with incredible success rate completely cured all kinds of illness and disease in thousands of patients, with incredible wealth of knowledge you can only find by exploring his videos and piecing the picture together for yourself.

Writers note: I could have been more TL;DR with this post but I really wanted to get out my perspective breaking down thoughts with some reflection on the matters discussed from my experience, which some may share in.

I know I haven't posted in a looong time after my first post. Trying to get my life together!
