• I can't shed any weight no matter how little or how well I eat. -

Blame it on: High and low cortisol

Its highly likely you have adrenal fatigue. It’s well accepted that stress and weight gain go hand in hand.

Stress causes increased hunger, constant cravings, and a physiology that is more likely to lose muscle. Cortisol spikes blood sugar, inhibits digestion, and, importantly, and puts a halt to immune activities.

The primary decision the body makes is whether it wants to make sex hormones like progesterone OR stress hormones like cortisol.
What You Can Do

Chronic digestive issues such as constipation, loose stools, bloating, acid reflux, and indigestion can further worsen adrenal exhaustion as they are perceived by the body as stress, and additional cortisol (stress hormone) is produced to help deal with the digestive stress (and more cortisol = belly fat). -

Digestive issues inhibit the estrogen detoxification process in the liver and overproduce cortisol which blocks progesterone receptors. Not good news if you suffer from belly fat.
