KALE COTTAGE PIE
Another hard-core vegan special, if you trying to find ways to eat kale and spinach, here you go. Kale is probably the healthiest veggie you can get in the store, but not everyone likes it, so a little creativity is required.
Ingredients
1 mountain of potatoes
2 chopped onions
4 garlic cloves
200g black kale
200g spinach
250g chopped mushrooms
3 chopped tomatoes
Table spoon onion gravy powder (Vegan)
15g nutritional yeast flakes
OK to start of we need to make mash potatoes, grab a hole bunch of them.
Peel and chop, and into the pot with them
While that is boiling it's time to prepare the kale. In with the onions,frying at medium heat.
Then the garlic.
Remove the stems from the kale and chop up.
Then dump in the tomatoes,with a cup of water.
Then chuck in the spinach.
Next is the mushrooms.
Mix it all up and add a pinch of salt and pepper, then prinkle some gravy powder, about a table spoon will do.
It doesn't have to cook properly, it will cook in the oven. Mash the potatoes.
Throw the kale in a baking tray.
Then trow the mash on top.
Grab some yeast flakes.
Sprinkle the yeast flakes on top.
Then it is just a matter of baking it at a medium heat for 45 minutes.
