Linking History, Culture and Religion part 1

Travel and exploration is all about getting to know the country, its people and various traditions that have been embedded into culture over time. Vietnam is diverse and rich with deep cultural roots, religion is also part of its foundation and there is strong belief and following in the country.

There is a sense of spiritualism held by many and there were many folklore stories that intertwined with religious beliefs and other cultural influences. Some of them were very similar to Chinese stories and this is a common theme between many countries across Asia. Though I do not follow the native religion here, it was interesting to learn a little more about the various beliefs in the natural beings of the world including ghosts and spirits.
