How To Install Adrenaline - Turn your PS Vita back to PSP
The Flow, creator of Vitashell made another contribution in the PS Vita homebrew scene by creating this awesome app/emulator that will turn back the clock and can make your PS Vita into a PSP again.
The Adrenaline app has gone through various updates and bug fixing but this latest version by far has been the best as it can now be installed with ease unlike before that there's a lot of runaround like needing to go to a website or installing a demo game first from the Playstation store. .
So let me guide you on how to install Adrenaline to your PS Vita.
Requirements
- Wifi
- Laptop or PC
- FTP client (I use WinSCP)
- PS Vita 3.60 that is already on Henkaku - Important requirement.

Installing Adrenaline
- The most important thing is to download the Adrenaline VPK file from Github to your computer and download the latest file which is 6.61 Adrenaline-6. No need to download the other files.

- Open your FTP client on your computer and open Henkaku on your Vita, press select and enter the IP address showing on your PS Vita to your FTP enabled computer.
- Transfer the Adrenaline file to the uxo: folder and then install it.
- After installing, you can delete the Adrenaline file in Henkaku. The Adrenaline bubble will show up in the PS Vita live area.
Using Adrenaline
Once adrenaline is installed, let's go ahead and activate it.
- Hit on the Adrenaline bubble to launch it. Sometimes you have to hit it twice to to launch.
- After launching Adrenaline, you will see the PSP interface that let's you edit the settings as if you had a brand new PSP.
- Edit the settings that you prefer and then you will see that the functionalities are the same as the PSP.
- Some of the PSP games that are in my Vita and can be played using Adrenaline. Other apps that are available in the PSP can also be used in the Vita as long as it is on Adrenaline.
Adrenaline is one of the best apps in the PS Vita as it can give you the joy of playing PSP games again especially that PSP has thousands of games to choose from.
