[Steemit ] Transfer confirmation page needed
Hello everyone ,
Few hours ago , I tried making 10 Steem transfer from my account to another steemit account. I was lucky enough not to misspell the user's name.
Steemit don't ask the sender to confirm the transaction details.
What Steemit Does
Steemit automatically logs the sender off then ask to login again when making a transaction to confirm he/she is truly the account owner.
I'm saying automatic logging out of an account when making a transaction isn't enough. That's the reason I'm making this post to suggest a Confirmation Page to pop up before the sender's account automatically logs out.
Example
If I'm to make this transaction ,

The confirmation page I'm suggestion Steemit to come up with should pop up after clicking submit from the image above.
Here's how the confirmation page should look like.
Conclusion
I believe after this idea has been implemented ,the rate at which users makes transaction to wrong account will reduce.
Thank you'll for reasoning my idea 👍

Actually, once you log in again, Steemit allows you to perform other transaction without even that - and without confirming the following transactions. This can lead to someone accidentally redoing transactions because they don't realize that the transaction(s) went through.
I would suggest that the account of the person you are sending to need some sort of verification, such as a pop-up where you have to re-enter the account name in the way that many sites ask you to re-enter your email address or password when signing up. People will still cut-and-paste, but if cut-and-paste was not possible, they would have to think when re-entering and if it doesn't match with the original entry, they would have no choice but to double-check.
Lol that's true. And your idea that there should be sort of verification from the receiver's end is cool too.
Good that you remind all Steemians.
Mmmmmh,,, ohi ke wooo oooo

Check out the great posts I already resteemed.
Actually, the kinbit example you showed was a user withdrawing from Bittrex to Steem, where bittrex does confirmation screen, and withdrawal details be email confirmation, all before withdrawing.
Adding a completely unnecessary step would do nothing to help that user. The problem is a glitch in human psychology where we check it and think we see what we think we put, instead of actually seeing what we actually put.
Large companies handle this problem using accounting controls: every transaction has to be approved by somebody other than the person who initiated it. (Accounting controls-not just for fraud prevention.)
Oh yeaaa , the kinbit transaction is a different type entirely. Thank you for the correction. Removed
Thank you for the contribution. It has been approved.

There could be aconfirmation windows like on SteemConnect, with usernames, avatars and a final confirmation check. I really like that there.
Yes exactly 👍
Thank you flauwy
