Description
In this second video tutorial you will learn
What are resource credits?
Resource credits are the credits you are given to transact on the blockchain. In this lesson we will discuss the idea behind resource credits and the resources used in the calculations.
Why are there fees?
Blockchain is not free, there are server costs and running costs. So, if there is a cost in running a blockchain there must be fees. In the lesson we will discuss the need for fees when running a blockchain like STEEM.
How Many resource credits do I have and what can I do with them?
Resource credits are directly related to the SP you hold. These credits are used to pay the transaction free when you interact on STEEM. In this lesson we will discuss your resource credits and what you can do with them and where you can check your balances.
How much does it cost me per transaction in resource credits and how can I keep track of this?
Its important to keep an eye on your resource credits so you know how much you can do on the block. If you don’t keep an eye on it and run out of credits you will not be able to transact. In this lesson we will look at tools available in keeping track of what it costs and what you have.
How can I increase my resource credits?
It is possible to increase your resource credits, powering up is a critical element in this. in this lesson we will discuss how you can do this.

Hello @paulag,
Thank you for doing such great video tutorials!
It is so good that these tutorials are up-to-date and done after the HF 20. I am sure many people appreciate the new information given here.
Your presentation is engaging and nicely done.
There is a typo at 1:14 in the first video.
It should be 'voting' instead of 'viting'.
You might want to correct that for the other platforms.
Somehow the audio of these videos are not as clear as the other ones.
Look forward to your next video,
Rosa
