1UP Logo Contest - Create A New Pixelart Mascot
As the logo was suposed to be pixelated I decided to create it with Adobe Illustrator to ensure quality at all sizes. This is what I came up with.

Why I chose AI
Because as they are actual vectors, not pixels, you can easily resize your designs without loosing any quality.
And you can easily make multiple copies of your designs to try out multiple things and select the best.
The process
- Idea
First I made a basic scelleton for the design that at at first I wanted to make look like a fighter jet but later decided to go with an upvote like design.
Then I switched fill to stroke and gave it a purple color so that I can see it better when and made a grid.
The next step was to individually color each individual square
- To finish the design I decided to add the and 1Up explosion
