This is a really nice design, i honestly like it. i also apreciate the way you asked the project owner to give you a brief on how he would like the logo to be made, and even though he is not giving much brief you still did a good job. The color is bright and it gave some kind of fun vibe, that's really appropriate for a photo sharing app.

SInce this is a mobile app project, it would be nice if you could put some mockups in your presentation to show people how people how the logo will look in real life.

Also your presentation will be a lot cleaner if don't show the screenshot of your conversation with the project owner, a link to the github issue is enough to proof you had a coversation with project owner.
