Promotion and Campaign for Steemit during the Grandest and Most-Awaited Festival of the Year | STEEMIT JOINS SINULOG 2018!

Introduction
Few days from now, the anticipated event of Cebu will happen - Sinulog 2018. It is the most awaited celebration and the grandest festival in the Philippines; even people from the other countries join in and celebrate along with all Cebuanos each year! In-line with our eagerness to widespread the platform of Steemit, we are working very hard to make this "biggest-promotion-yet" to happen. We are extremely excited right now!

The Sinulog Festival

The Sinulog Festival is held each year in Cebu, Philippines on every third Sunday of January; this is to honor the patron of the province: Sto. Niño. The festival features the most colorful displays of ceremony and pageantry. The celebration is just one day and people in different corner of the world are coming to see this event. This year, it is to expect hundreds of thousands of people will celebrate the festival.

We are joining in!
Last week, our first promotion of Steemit for 2018 happened. Take a look with these amazing shots...

This time around, we will be campaigning Steemit during the event. Our initiatives since last year never changed - it is to promote Steemit in our community. Sinulog is really a big, wide and broad festival, this will be our huge advantage to do our missions and visions.

The Plan

We are on intense brainstorming and ideas are flooding everywhere! Things to discuss like...

• Where is the place to do this? The Sinulog area is so big.
• How can we promote Steemit during the event?
• What are the activities or booths we are going to do for people's entertainments?
• Where do we get the funds... etc?

So, we tackled and planned it one by one.

We contacted them, they are the team that will help us to find a place or area during Sinulog. It is an active and non-profit organization aiming to help any public assistance. @itinerantph @bellatravelph @ninyea have reached them and conducted a meeting. We have now a settled area for our promotion.

@jassennessaj and @davealemana worked this one. Our T-Shirts are ready for the event. We are also selling that one for those who are interested so it can be used during the festival, just contact @jassennessaj.

The Budget
Our community account @steemph.cebu will shoulder, not all, the expense. But we also have to use our own pocket money. This planned promotion will not be possible without the work and the budget, of course.

Are you guys ready?

This will be the first festival Steemit has entered ever since, I think. Today, we are all preparing and making the materials needed for our promotion in maximum effort.
