🙏️ STEEM / Steemit / Busy, please add syntax hightlight for code
There are many posts on #utopian-io #steemit #steem about code but unfortunatly the provided markdown parser do not support syntax highlight.
I think many people will agree with me, because without it the author have to paste an image or link the code on Github. Both approch reduce the STEEM frontends readability UX. And colored source code is less boring.
AFTER. it should work like in Github
NOW. it does nothing
I suggest to implement a markdown parser which implements it or an option in the UI to enable it.

The code inside a post should be colored (if a language is specified)
Actual behavior
Even if you use the correct tags in markdown the code in the post isn't colored

- write some code in a post
- it isn't colored
Hi, @luigi-tecnologo! Thank you for this excellent idea contribution. Indeed, this feature is highly relevant and vital for most developers in the community.
While this idea is important, I am afraid it will not get scored sadly because it is a duplicate idea which you can find here and here. However, we appreciate your effort, and we'll strongly recommend that you scan for duplicate ideas before sharing one either on the Github repository or as a Utopian contribution.
