Introduction
My name is Ebixy Ebi Laffin and I have a page on Facebook where I promote Steem and applications built on the blockchain.
It is without a doubt that cryptocurrency and blockchain technology has revolutionized how we do business and transact. Over the last few years, it had gained attention and acceptability but there is need to promote steem and blockchain more.
There are many applications on the blockchain for almost everyone and every field i.e there is a place for everyone. People are also making known their displeasure for a centralized system of control and regulation.
Campaign Strategy
Choice of target audience: One of the first things I considered before carrying out the campaign was that cryptocurrency had to be legal in any country I am going to promote to.
Cryptocurrency is legal in South Africa and with an internet penetration above 50%, the e-commerce sector is growing and expanding. Steem adoption can become a reality.
Ad message as it relates to the target audience
I chose to promote via Facebook and below is an example of Ads that are not allowed. With this in mind, I had to make a post that does not encourage a get rich quick scheme.
Bidding strategy:
I choose the Cost Per Click (CPC) bidding strategy. Bidding method was set as automatic meaning Facebook is to deliver the ad at the lowest cost possible. The promotion also took into consideration the legal age in South Africa.

- Age: 18 - 60

As is usually the case with your posts, there are negative and positive aspects. On the positive side, as always, you reached your goal as far as the number of clicks goes. And your choice of target country is a reasonable one. The targeting was broad, but reasonable.
Now, for my issues. I'll start with the lesser one: I don't understand your choice of copy. Most people don't know what dApps are, for instance. And you mention many, many, many things about the Steem blockchain while still leaving those who don't know it confused.
That's not great, but it's nowhere near as egregious as my bigger issue: Your ad links to this post, the post about the bounty. How is that a reasonable target? What person who doesn't already know Steem, when reaching that post, would do anything but recoil in confusion? Why not pick Steem.io? Or the Steemit signup page? Was this a conscious choice? Or an error? I'm not sure. But I do know this: It negates the campaign's value, and that's a shame.
