Discord STEEM bot for communities made in Python! (Steemit Moderation)
Server Management Bot
Version 1.0
The bot is based on BasicBot and edited to manage discord servers based around communities sharing their posts with each other. It's a part of @littleboy's Steemit Moderation project and was made for his request.
The bot is open source ready with proper comment documentation and lists/variables ready to be edited by any user. Any questions regarding it's setup should be answered by BasicBot's tutorial or can be consulted with @Jestemkioskiem on Discord/Steemit.chat (contact info at the botom of the article).
Functionality:
- Monitor specified channels for new messages.
- Automatically remove posts that are not links or are too old/new.
- Display how old the post is and how much SBD it has received.
- Wait for an authorized person to use an emote on the message to accept it.
- Move accepted messages into different channels, remove the old ones.
- Sort the posts into correct channels based on their tag.
- Ping the bot with !ping command to see if it's responsive.
- Easily editable for new features!
