I have been mulling over a project for a while now and working on its structure since posting about the idea. Today, I share the concepts behind the project and how it will help bring value to the Steem ecosystem.

I have been thinking about a way to create an easy-to-access site for people promoting Steem, Steemit and other Steem apps to get content to use in their various promotions. This wish has resulted in the creation of the steemit-promo-content repository, an initiative I hope to get it integrated in the official Promo Steem GitHub account and linked to from the Promo Steem website. Once I've gotten the structure figured out a little more, with more content available for people to use, I hope to transfer ownership of this repository to the #promo-steem GitHub account. I believe the #promo-steem initiative is a great one and would like to thank @stephenkendal @anarcotech and @starkerz for bringing it into existence.

I intend to create ready-to-use, promotional content that promoters can use right off the bat, and the scope of the work covers the whole Steem blockchain and its apps. This particular project/repository however is for Steemit Promotions.

AUDIENCE

I have identified two different groups of audiences for Steemit promotional work:

• Users: these are the people who will using Steemit, to exchange ideas on a global scale, and get economic value from it
• ‎Brands: these are the people and organizations who might be interested in harnessing the power of Steemit to get the users' attention

CONTENT TYPES

My initial set of content for all audience groups will include:

• Sharable Digital Images:

More content types may be added over time, as new ideas materialize.

This project is building a site where promoters can find ready-to-use PDFs, images and other content to use in promoting the Steemit platform. The repository will also serve as a place where content creators can upload their promotional content to share with others.

STEEMIT PROMOTIONAL FLYER 1

I have begun this project by creating a printable PDF containing information that can be useful when explaining Steemit and its advantages to new users. I've also provided the source files, for anyone to modify it and use as they see fit. All files can be found in the new Steemit Promotional Content GitHub repository.
