Let me explain better, everyone is free to do powerup or not, to use their steem as they see fit ... this is the economy and that's how steem also stands up...

But what I want to talk about today is the fraudulent system that more and more people adopted on the platform, the account farming.
This practice is very simple to implement, you need few resources to be able to get good results in a short time.

Obviously all this is due to the uncontrollable desire to accumulate steem, you will be wondering, but no ... in most cases those who implement these means to try to earn some upvotes will not hold his steem on the platform, on the contrary ... he will wait for a right number, for sell them as soon as possible.

But why is this a serious problem within the platform?
leaving aside the fact that the contents generated by these accounts, most of the time are complete garbage, moreover if we think that only 6 months ago there was the HF that served to decrease the costs for our witnesses.
Such a large amount of multi-account posting garbage certainly will not benefit the health of the ecosystem, but rather I think that probably the high cost of steemit management, in part, is also due to this.

What is even sadder, is when some of these scammers manage to participate with more accounts in some of the contests carried out by the community, with the aim of extorting as many steem as possible from the poor victim.
