Here is my new idea of having a "Steemit Mentors Tab or Link" on the frond-end of Steemit. This link and page will need to be also backed up by a team of Mentors (Mentors on each region can be the current existing steembassadors, or a new group specific to mentoring could be created. I strongly believe that the current promo-teams can act as mentors at the same time they are ambassadors. They are actually acting as mentors in some way).

I am a strong believer that the fact that potential users for steemit will get a great impression on steemit if we are able to showcase its most important possibilities, and show potential users what they can do in the platform so they can easily find what is their best fit on it, can make the entire ecosystem grow huge.

If we have the "Mentors Link" on the front-end of the platform, this will help to capture potential users faster and easier. When things tend to be more self explanatory its when more and more users start using it.

I believe that showing people on the interface that "Steemit Mentors" exist (Mentors on each region can be the current existing steemit ambassadors from the different promo-teams of steem around the world, or a new group specific to mentoring can be created), it will be something that will make new users and potential users to believe on it faster, and decide to try it. Lets think of ourselves when we saw steemit for the first time several months ago, and we had nobody we knew to help us (we still did not know how helpful are people on steemit, and how collaborative we are), we had to research for ourselves. And as all of us know, there is a point of time we dedicate to things, and if we don't receive what we expect we just leave it. And each person has its own level for this, some percevere more, and some not. And when we don't get the luck to find what we need to motivate ourselves on something, probably we are getting close to stop doing that.

So lets imagine now for a second, that this potential users come for the first time to steemit, and they check a few minutes (what we do on every new website), and finally they see this "Steemit Mentors tab link", click on it, and they are taken to a page were they learn about steem, steemit, about steemit Mentors, and other important things they need to know about rewards and other possibilities, and also learn what is the Vision of Steem and the reason why they were created.

After this, he reads that he can check on the Steemit Worldmap ( http://www.steemitworldmap.com/ ) to see who is a Steemit Mentor (it can be a Steembassador or a new group formed by the business commitee) close to his area in the world, and he decides to contact him via a chat method, or commenting on his blog, the discord channel for this specific activity, or the best method of contact that is decided on steemit. This can be huge to attract more and more people that want to contribute, and that will find themselves to be able to help with their areas of expertize.

With Steemit Mentors it can be very rewarding to help every creative person on its area of expertize to contribute with great value, this can be a excellent feature to make this people want to learn more, and come to steemit to also learn about crypto, and thus start spreading the word on steemit, thus making a large impact, speaking and blogging about Steemit on the other media platforms they are using too. Just in a similar way as "elear" creation with utopian-io (that is and will concentrate many of the best coders, developers, designers, analysts with its disruptive rewarding system), the Steemit Mentors can help (in a smaller and different scale) increase the capture of potential steemit users, and help them find their own place on the platform, and then perhaps some of them convert into their own steembassador for their neighborhood for instance.

The world has plenty of creative people, and a lot of them live on different areas of the world, and for one reason or another, they are not able to express their creativity, simply because they can't find an adecuate job to do it, or because what they do is not well payed on their region. So lets imagine again if those people find our about steemit, and they go they end up on the Mentors page, and they read that they can start earning from the first day they start, they will probably not believe it, and as they don't understand it at the begining, some decide to go away.
However, if they see there is a Steemit World Map, that they can find Mentors on their area or a region they prefer, this mentors can finally explain their personal experience on the platform and can make them really thin what is it that they can do with quality to help the community and contribute to its growth.

[Note: The idea to find the Steembassadors on the Steemit Worldmap, comes from the idea from "stephenkendal" and "starkerz" to add the steembassadors on the Steemit World map. So if steembassadors are added on the Steem World Map we can definitely use this feature]

This means each of the promo-teams of the world can be definitely added on the steemit world map to be easily found by potential users, and new users that need help on the platform.

5- How you can convert steem or sbd rewards into bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin or other crypto, and finally into fiat
6- Any other important features that will help people learn this is true, and that to get the real impression that the steem blockchain and steemit are an open and very helpful community, whose aim is to enpower people, return the control to them, leaving banks and governments on the side.

The 2 main reasons for creating the "Steemit Mentors tab/link" are:

**Reason 1: **
It will attract and help increase the capturing of potential users that initialy have some doubts of how it is really possible to earn money by getting upvotes, also wether its true they can earn rewards with the system. Adding mentors officialy and the "Steemit Mentors tab/link" will act as a stronger bridge for people to signup on steemit, and think what would be there area of contribution for the community, and thus get rewarded by doing so. Once they are able to publish their first post and get rewards on it, they will definitely want to spread the word.

**Reason 2: **
The steemit platform brings lots of possibilities for everyone (empowering people, freedom, banking the unbanked, learning topics each person likes, and many others), so showing them that the "Steemit Mentors" exist via the link or tab on its front-end, and that they are here to clear doubts and guide on Steemit, (and they can see them on the Steemit Worldmap), will help the steemit platform a bit more, to show one more aspect of its entire possibilities, thus increasing the number of people/"potential users" that decide to give it a try.

Adding this feature of the "Steemit Mentors tab/link" will act as another important engaging factor, to have more potential users signup on steemit, and thus start learning more on crypto in general. This can finally be translated into steem and the steemit platform being important drivers of making cryptocurrency go mainstream.
