DTube Promotion on Facebook

What is dtube?

DTube is the first crypto-decentralized video platform linked to Steemit which is also a decentralized social media which allows users to upload videos easily and get steem in return via the upvotes (likes) on their video post. The steem is later claimed after seven days and can be converted to crypto currency or fiat money. DTube is built on top of the STEEM Blockchain and the IPFS peer-to-peer network.

Introduction

I used my Facebook profile to create a promotion page which i use to promote open source projects. The reason I decided to promote Dtube is because, most video uploaders have been uploading nice and creative videos which they can get rewarded for in return,but because the platform they upload the videos on are not crypto-decentralized video platforms, they just waste time and money posting them and get nothing in return. Promoting Dtube will make them realize that their efforts can be rewarded which in return make them financially independent and become people who will add value to the community. Promoting Dtube will also increase the number of users using it and make it a community with a huge number of users.

Audience

I had five promotion for the the post,i will analyze the audience one after the other per promotion.

First Promotion

Women and men between the age range of 18 to 64 living in Nigeria

Second Promotion

Women and men between the age range of 18 to 64 living in Nigeria

Third Promotion

Women and men between the age range of 13 to 65 and above living in Nigeria. United Kingdom and United States

Fourth Promotion

Women and men between the age range of 13 to 65 and above living in Nigeria

Fifth Promotion

Women and men between the age range of 18 to 65 and above living in Nigeria, and Ghana

Activity

I created a post about DTube, in the post I explained Dtube and also included links where viewers can create an account and where frequently asked questions can be found about Dtube. I made five promotions for this post. At the times of making this post,i had gotten 5258 reach, 2.3k likes and 1 comment. My fifth promotion is still active which means i will still get a wider reach. My budget and spending for the promotion are as follows;

First Promotion

Budget was #300 and I spent #299.81

Second Promotion

Budget was #400 and I spent ₦400

Third Promotion

Budget was #3000 and I spent #2999.86

Fourth Promotion

Budget was #398 and I spent #398

Fifth Promotion

Budget was #1000 and I spent #886.37

Results

As i said earlier I ran the promotion five times, i will show results for each promotion.

First promotion

I got 292 reach and 151 post engagements

Second Promotion

I got 420 reach and 214 post engagements

Third Promotion

I got 2514 reach and 840 post engagements

Fourth Promotion

I got 363 reach and 126 post engagements

Fifth Promotion

I have gotten 836 reach and 550 post engagement. This promotion is still active and will have more reach and post engagement

At the time of taking the screenshot below i had gotten 5,258 reach, 2.3k likes, and 1 comment. This figure will still increase because of my fourth promotion is still active .
