I keep hearing that Java is a dying language but there always seems to be new projects and jobs based around it...I couldn't learn C++ though so I doubt I'd be able to tackle it, heh.

    Yes, it is so widely used that it will surely take a lot of time for it to become irrelevant.

    so I doubt I'd be able to tackle it

    I guess with enough time you will be able to take a good grasp of it.
