How to filter your Table of Contents from the Easy Backlinks Generator
Table of Contents Generator - It is real and ready for you right now! Let me show you how to use it, head on over to coffeesource.net in your browser.
@coffeesource.net is a creation of @kit.andres and @ecoinstant, who are building out new tools upon the Steem Blockchain.
We are going to be using the Easy Backlink tab; put your username, or any username, into the search box and push generate.
Once we click on generate, and allow it to load, we can see the basic functionality of the Easy Backlinks Generator, now fully copy/pasteable into markup.
But notice now there is an option to filter by tag!
Type in the tag that you want to search for, in this case I am going to make a table of contents of all my how-to articles.
You can also filter by multiple tags.
When you click on the filter button, the visible results will be filtered. When I filter my posts for how to, nothing shows up! Oh No!
So Easy backlinks only shows the last 30 posts on your blog, and it throws away resteems, so if you are a heavy resteemer, you may see substantially less. Now with the filter, we aren't seeing any, but we can click the load more button to load 30 more posts each time.
I clicked 7 times to get the full how-to table of contents for @ecoinstant.
Now we can copy paste! Because of the recent formatting developments, we can now copy from the table and paste directly in markup, without worrying about extra line spacing.
Here's what it looks like:
I hope this will be useful to all steemians out there - and especially some of my far-away friends who requested this functionality. Please leave all relevant suggestions or ideas in the comments!

Damn! This is one nifty tool. Easy to use. Doesn't do much but what it does is really useful and saves a lot of time. Almost reminds me of short but amazing indie games.
Thanks a lot. Resteemed for visibility. More people needs to see this.
Thank you for this! Made my morning.
You are welcome!
YES I absolutely needed this functionality! Though the past 30 posts is a bit small for me. I have a series that I post in once every month or so, and I post 1-4 times per day, so it takes a bunch of clicking to find old things. If you're accepting ideas, I'd love something that checked more like the past 1000 posts.
This is super useful regardless!
We are looking at a 'load all' button right now actually! Should before the week is out ;p
Sweet!
Glad to hear its useful to you! It was just begging to be developed! Any suggestions welcome - even for completely new tools ;p
Is that punday monday open all week?
Yes indeedy! It runs Monday (at whatever time I post it) to Monday (at whatever time I post the next one). We also have a little side contest on Friday, whereby folks who have POCKET can use it to vote for their favorite punster (by sending it to that person).
I read quite few posts about these tool, but still could not figure out the usage. How we can use this new tool ?
Hello Sanmi! Yes you can go to the address in your browser - www.coffeesource.net
The www subdomain will disappear, you don't even need to enter it but you can - here is an image of what it should look like ->
@sanmi try reading this post. it explains how to use it in a different way. Hope that helps! Much Love to you from @ecoinstant's Mom

Wow, if I hadn't seen a @snook repost via @fireawaymarmot I might have missed this post and the helpful description. When I first loaded up the coffesource.net site I couldn't tell what it was for, so I moved on thinking it was an as-of-yet unworking work-in-progress.
The tag filtering is awesome. Though you might consider pre-populating it with a set of tags that the current search set contains.
Edit: Also, I find it really useful that the result is markdown text. I'm going to use this to start posting links to my previous content when I make new posts.
Design is not our strong suit ;p We'll have to try and make it clearer what the tools are for.
I hope it is very helpful for you! I like tag recommender, I'll have to think about that.
I think the table of contents would work really well for your different types of content.
Hey @ecoinstant I am @utopian-io. I have just upvoted you!
