RE: Comparing Utopian Translation Rewards with Existing Services - Blockchain Business Intelligence
As a translator (working into English, so unfortunately my services aren't particularly useful in this context) I have a feeling Steemit would be very attractive to many freelance professionals. I've yet to see steemit discussed in any of the pro translation communities I frequent, which is surprising given how much benefit translators stand to gain from this kind of setup! As with many other applications of blockchain tech, translating via steemit/utopian cuts out the "middleman" of agencies, which are a real issue for most who are trying to make a living as a translator.
Thank you for sharing your personal experience. I feel there are gems in it I can't point my finger on, but let me try.
This was what caught my attention. I'm not a professional translator, as such having these sentiments from people who are in the field are important.
Thanks! There's always a lot of discussion about the role of tech in the translation world, but usually focused on machine-assisted translation tech and the ways in which the internet has fueled a "race to the bottom" as far as prices/turnaround time/quality. I'm excited by the possibilities blockchain technologies open up to reverse that trend and connect professionals/clients more efficiently.
