Contribution Specifications
- Translation Overview
This is my second contribution and I continued to work on the same folder called deprecations.md. This time, most of the strings consisted in specifying all the different deprecations and their different types. As it was the case with the previous contribution, some words weren't translated because it would change the meaning of the text.
When working on this contribution I was able to learn the meaning of a few terms, for example:
I/O - input/output : The term I/O is used to describe any program, operation or device that transfers data to or from a computer and to or from a peripheral device. Every transfer is an output from one device and an input into another. | Source
Asynchrony: it refers to the occurrence of events independent of the main program flow and ways to deal with such events... Asynchronous input/output is an example of the latter cause of asynchrony, and lets programs issue commands to storage or network devices that service these requests while the processor continues executing the program.| Source
Callback: is any executable code that is passed as an argument to other code, which is expected to call back (execute) the argument at a given time. This execution may be immediate as in a synchronous callback, or it might happen at a later time as in an asynchronous callback. | Source
In the previous contribution, I included the definition of the term "deprecation".
