Hi @lostmine27, very interesting question, and a great follow-up to your SBD conversion post! I guess waiting 7.5 years doing nothing is not really a satisfying approach :) I understand that assuming fixed prices for supplies that almost double the number of tokens is really an extreme and unlikely case, but I somehow missed the most obvious "solution" - how much would the STEEM price have to rise to get out of the haircut state? In the context of waiting for years, it could have been interesting to include the real inflation rate - would the decreasing rate have made a difference?
