Yay! Its a month when i started using utopian.io to contribute to open source projects. As a contributor (of ideas in major) i have had the opportunity to interact with great projects some of which i will give below, and tell of the greatness. I will also provide their repositories for contributors like me who wants to contribute to projects on utopian.io but who don't know how to go about the repository/ project field.

Wordpress.com

Wordpress as you may have known is one of the world's largest blogging site, and yes they are open source (i know you must be surprised). You can as well create a website using their tools. Many believe they have a complex system, but i say that they have now greatly improved over the times they have not stopped updating. And sure you can get paid for blogging too with them (i will not go into that now), but as good as they may seem, there are still so many contributions they need from users especially. You can contribute to this project from utopian.io by selecting the category you want to contribute to. In the repository field, enter wordpress and press enter then select WordPress/WordPress

Utopian.io

This is a platform that rewards opensource contributors for their contribution. I will like to stress the fact that utopian-io is the first of it kind. They have a very good platform, you can read more about them from utopian.io/join, if you have any contribution you want to add to them, its just as simple as selecting the category, then head over to the repository and type utopian then hit enter, select utopian-io/utopian.io.

Utopian.io has so many features that makes it cool, if you select any picture on utopian.io it takes you to a bigger view of the picture as tho you are viewing a slideshow.

Utopian.io gives a list of posts that has the same content as you are planning to write as you compose so that you can check through them and ensure you are not repeating contributions.

Its important to note that when your contributions will not be approved ( https://utopian.io/rules )
Presently there are bounties running on utopian.io that you can join in as a designer or developer to win supervotes from utopian bot (100% vote worth more than $300 as at present), do well to check @utopian-io for more updates.
You should also know that utopian.io is open source project, meaning that you can contribute to it.
This article on utopian.io will not be complete if i don't mention that utopian.io is now a witness. Its actually the first witness with that is community driven. I have vote for it because of it great benefits, i think you should too. Check out the campaign here

Steemspetacles.com

Well i find tool very interesting as it shows you what is going on, with your account on steemit. All you have to do is enter your steemit username and press enter to enter into the paradise. Steemspectacles gives you the opportunity to see, those who upvoted you frequently and how much you have earned from them in total. It helps you to keep a trail of your loyal fans.

It is also an open source project that needs your ideas and contributions to be better. You can contribute to this project by entering ‘spectacles' in the repo field and select stephanmullerNL/spectacles
