Promoting Wordpress to Nigeria Audience Via Facebook
Introduction
My Name is Salami Aderemi with STEEMIT USERNAME @aderemi01 and here is the link to my FACEBOOK PROFILE and also link to my FACEBOOK PAGE which i will be using to promote open source projects to Nigerians . I have been promoting Steemit , utopian and other open source projects for a while now , but this time i decided to promote Wordpress on the page through the use of Facebook ads.
WORDPRESS is an open source project and its one of the best platforms for beginners that want to go into creating website or blog , its very simple to use with nice user interface.
I decided to promote Wordpress to my Nigerian people because it is a platform where you can create website and blog thereby serving as job opportunity and apart from this a lot of Nigerians are already in the business using other ways but Wordpress will make it easier . By promoting Wordpress it will help alot of Nigerians to know about Wordpress and make maximum use of the platform and also this will increase Wordpress users in Nigeria.
Audience
The promotion targeted over 5 million people in Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Kwara, Sokoto among others with age group that ranged from 18 to 65. This promotion was launched two days ago, it got 5,623 audience. The audience consisted of both male and female people in Nigeria.
Activity
A Facebook post was created on the Facebook Page where i described Wordpress to potential audience in Nigeria. Wordpress website link was included on the promoted post for those that would like to register or ask me questions about the post. This Facebook Post was boosted to reach more Nigerians within the range of 18 - 65.
Results
This promotion run for like 2 days and with the audience been set to reach and locations, it reached 5,623 people with 156 likes , and 6 comment
