Project Details

OroCommerce is a B2B eCommerce Platform letting you build you online platform for your products, services and the purchase of them.

With OroCommerce, you may build your own online platform with Out-of-the-box features like CRM, ERP, order management, Product Information Management and other applications.

E-commerce is not a “new” business media anymore. It is becoming more and more common and save a lot of manpower. I am happy to translate this project as it is a great platform of E-commerce and I got the chance to contribute.

The project contains 20,934 words and I am helping to translate it into Traditional Chinese. In this report I translated 809 words, finishing 3 sections of the project.

I translate the project from English to Traditional Chinese.

I have been translating in Crowdin for months and finished the translation of the Fundition project. Studying Electronic Engineering in University, I am familiar with website language and it was a fun job for me. A challenge point is that the words to be translated is not presented in paragraph form but in point form. I could not get the best translation easily from the meaning of the whole paragraph. Luckily, my background language gave me the sense and knowledge to provide a good translation to it.

Again, the threeo sections consist of different commercial terms and focus on shipping, payment and quote sales. As my work is all related to the field, it is good assignment for me.

Also, I commented on a text ]1,Inf] and believe it should be [1,Inf] instead.

    • Your presentation post is good and clear with all the necessary information. However, screenshots are no longer required by Utopian, by you can use them if you prefer, and screenshots help to clarify things difficult to convey in words.
    • This is your 5th contribution to this Oro-Commerce project. You are getting used to the glossary and the writing style of the project.
    • There are still difficult issues in the translation, and through the direct discussion, you have word well with the moderator to come to a satisfactory solution, e.g. "Close as lost" which really has to depend on the context.
    • Your translation into Traditional Chinese is fluent and your written Chinese style is good and would not be misunderstood.
    • Your have translated more than 800, less the untranslatable and duplicate, the net translated word count could be accepted as in 700+ range.
