The Price of Passion (Urban Legend Flash Fiction Contest)
Anna stood in the medical center's hospital room. she was watching out the window into the night her wrinkled hand pressed firmly against the cold glass. She pines for her lost love he was tall young his body tone and firm his features chiseled. She pulls her hospital gown tightly around her as her room is chilled and sterile. Anna sits on the hospital bed and lets herself drown in her memories, those wonderful beautiful memories.
She remembers how they met at a bar she was with friends celebrating her 25th birthday she was having a wonderful time. When he entered the bar time seemed to stop and all her friend's eyes were drawn to him, he was beautiful. His name was Callan his hair dark and his eyes the clearest of blue. They had hit it off right away her friends jealous of her luck. Every word he spoke rolled off his tongue like a romance novel she was captivated. She had thought it was a one-time meeting like the corny phrase "two ships that pass in the night". When he asked for her number and a date she couldn't believe her luck.
Their second meeting was just as fantastic as the first. She remembered meeting him at the park it was a wonderful nightly walk as the lantern light danced on the pond. As they walked hand in hand passing a pair of lovers on a park bench he pulled her closer. He ran his strong hands gently up her arms leaning in he brushed his lips over hers teasingly until she stood on her tip toes begging. The kiss was magical she swore she could feel the jolts of passion course through her. His lips were incredible and sweet. As the kiss continued he probed her mouth expertly with his tongue gliding over hers. She just knew they were falling in love.
Callan broke from the kiss and took her hand in his he brought it up and kissed it "come with me" he told her pulling her into the shadows. Anna giggled as she let him pull her into the darkness. Callan pushed her up against a tree and looked lustfully into her eyes "I am falling in love with you Anna" he told her as he began to kiss her once more. Anna's heart soared as those words pulled at her heart.
"I am falling in love with you too" she whispered. Callan continued to kiss her he traced down her neck giving her chills as his tongue danced on her skin. She leaned her head back against the tree as his lips moved to her shoulder. She felt his hands move to her buttons pulling open her blouse. His breath was hot against her skin but it was his expertise as he nuzzled her breasts that fueled her passion. His hand moved to her thigh moving slowly up and under her skirt. It was not until she opened her eyes she realized where they actually were "wait we are in the park" she gasped.
"I don't care I am on fire I want you, I need to have you," he told her his hot breath fanned her neckline.
Frightened he may change his mind if she refused she kissed him taking his hand "we can go to my apartment we will be alone and can take our time."
Callan gave her a reassuring smile running his fingers over her lips "sounds perfect" he whispers. Taking her hand in his he leads her to the street raising his hand to summon a cab. Anna pulled her shirt together as the cab approaches when it stops Callan opens the door so she can slide inside ahead of him. He pulls his wallet and looks at Anna "where we going" he asks.
Anna giggles "245 Pecan Drive".
"And step on it !" Callan added.
The cab arrived at the designated address 30 minutes later they reached the door. She fumbled with the keys. Callan didn't even wait for her to fully open the door he was in full lust as he reached cupping her face kissing her fully on the lips as he pushed her through the door. His lips never left hers as he kicked the door shut. Anna grabs his jacket pushing it over his broad shoulders as he simultaneously begins to undress her. Clothes are strewn from the door to the bedroom as they flop onto the bed in each other's arms.
Their passion ran wild as he pulled her on top of him. He looked up at her and smiled as she eased herself onto his manhood. Callan ran his hands up her thighs to her waist then cupping her breasts as she began to move. Anna cried out in pleasure as the pace quickened. Callan licked his lips as he watched her, she was young beautiful and so full of life just what he needed. He sat up wrapping his strong muscular arms around her holding her to him as their pace quickens each thrust pushing her farther and farther to the edge. Anna dug her manicured nails into his perfect back as they released. As the last vibration of their release coursed through them both flopped back onto the bed, falling asleep in each other's arms. Anna woke the next morning and reached for him to her surprise he was gone.
Sitting on her hospital bed Anna starred into a hand mirror she traced her shriveled hand over her silver hair and then trying to smooth her wrinkles. "Come now Anna it is time for bed" the nurse tells her handing her her medications then assisting her laying her back on the bed adjusting her pillows. Anna continued to dream of her lost love, she can remember it like it was yesterday.....because it was.

I tried and tried to think of a story for this contest this was not my first choice....was going to do one about a Collector and a Marrionette but it kept getting stuck ... then this story just popped into my head
