Leica CL Urban Jungle by Jean Pigozzi: new limited series
The German manufacturer, as mentioned in the past, has the "enthusiasm" for its cameras ' restricted editions. Jean Pigozzi's recent addition, Leica CL Urban Jungle, is added to the wide range of alternatives that have been presented in the last era.
Jean Pigozzi's fresh Leica CL Urban Jungle was developed in cooperation with the Italian-French photographer, businessman and collector as can be guessed from the title. The camera has a fresh pattern reminiscent of a texture of camouflage engraved on the leather cover (with a gray rope strap).
All the camera's characteristics and design, according to the manufacturer, are well adapted to Pigozzi's style. The photographer was instead encouraged to build the theme by the perspective of New York skyscrapers. Pigozzi has not worked with the business for the first moment and in 2017 he developed the "Limoland" Leica Sofort.
Obviously, Jean Pigozzi's CL series camera with the embedded EyeRes viewfinder, accurate focus and shooting quality typical of Leica cameras continues at the middle of the Leica CL Urban Jungle. We discover a Leica Elmarit-TL 18 mm f/2.8 ASPH lens for the optical portion. Can be used for architectural photos as well.
Obviously such a solution can not be cost-effective and so Jean Pigozzi's Leica CL Urban Jungle has a cost of $3950 (in the USA) with only 150 units accessible worldwide (on sale beginning June 25 only in chosen physical shops) and matched by the exclusive packaging that can be seen in the above picture.
