Although we yearn to travel the seven seas, at the end of the day there is no feeling like going back to home sweet home.

My ten weeks of home-stay holidays in Benalmadena was lovely. I enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, the ten weeks passed so quickly, too quickly. Still, it is good to be back home in familiar environment, sights and sounds.

The whole journey from Benalmadena, Malaga, Spain to Singapore via Istanbul took about twenty-three and a half hours. It was an uneventful fight – the best thing. Still, I was feeling quite knackered by the time I reached home, as I wasn’t able to sleep on the plane.

As I sat here wondering what to say about the flight home yesterday, I can feel myself fading away. I think it will be an early night. So, this will be a quick post, to touch base.

Anyway, there are a couple minor things to sort out at home after being away for ten weeks. And with the Jet Lag, I think it will take a couple of days for me to settle down to my normal routine.

But yes, it sure is good to be home. Home sweet home.
