UpVote Crowdfund - DJI Phantom 4 Pro; Raised : $136(Discussion Of The Day: Some Thoughts + Votefund)
Crowdfunding on the blockchain has seemed like a great idea, and with upfundme, fundition as well as my app(still being worked on), Steem is looking like the place to do it. While some users don't support it, other, like me, do. I think that that can be one of the greatest uses of Steem, crowdfunding. When a user starts a fund, they can keep their backers up to date with blog posts, which they can do on a consistent schedule. Then they can show how the funds have helped them. Thats how I want to make votefund different from the rest. Each time that you post a new post to raise funds, you can't just copy/paste your last one and press post. Instead, a short blog has to be written up each time. I plan on making votefund more for creators looking to raise the funds to get tools for them to make great things, ex. photographers trying to raise funds for a camera. Like Utopian, there will be a moderation system(though ours won't be as complex and won't need a backend server(other than a database to store all posts made from the app)). Each time the funder wants to make a post, they must include something new. It can a short guide on how to take better photos, but it has to add to the blockchain in some way. Thats something that I'm very pertinent about.
