The Help My Dog (Floppy) Fundraiser | Day 66 - $190.63 of $5,120.00 | PLEASE UPVOTE this Post to Help

Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery now and he should be ok!

Unfortunately, these unexpected expenses have hit my family very hard and I am turning to the Steemit community in an effort to raise funds to pay for Flop's surgery. Every Upvote, Follow, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up awesome!!! All of your kind words & support have been amazing so far and as you can see, it is growing by the day, so thank you so much!

DAY 65 UPDATE

Thanks for checking in on Flop's Wednesday, He had a good day!

Started off with our walk as usual. It was a quick one because it was drizzling out a little. It must have been raining out while we were sleeping too; you may be able to see that the ground was a little wet still, but it's tough to make out. I couldn't give Flop much exercise though because of the weather.

Toward the end of the walk we saw one of the neighbor dogs walking and Flop started barking, you know the drill!

I thought this was a cool angle of Flop checking out the dog...

Got inside after the walk and gave Flop his morning treat. It's usually a Beggin strip, today I gave him some mini biscuits. I got Lu finished up with his breakfast and took him to day care. Flop didn't have any accidents or anything during the day. And we still haven't gated him back up in the kitchen yet, although we are being more cautious with him near the couch for sure!

Luey joined me on our evening walk today...it was chilly out, but not too bad so we took a longer walk because we couldn't in the morning. The DeMars boys had fun!

Flop got his coveted Beggin strip after the walk! Since Vanessa was working late, she was bringing home dinner for her & I and I got Lu bathed and dinner done early. I made him chicken & waffles, applesauce, and a slice of leftover pizza. He is getting so big and is such a big boy. I know the blog is about Flop, but how cute is Lucas?!?!?!

Flop was a lucky guy, he was going to have his chance at scraps from 2 different dinners!

...in between dinner's, Lu & Flop were chilling and playing for a little while I started Steeming.

After dinner I took Flop in the back with me while I had a cigarette and made sure that he was comfortable in his bed before going upstairs for the night to watch some TV with Vanessa and put Lu to bed.

...I'm realizing that Flop's days are pretty routine, there isn't always a lot to write about but i hope at the very least you are enjoying the daily pictures too! Thanks again for reading about Flop's recovery and supporting our cause!
