Is that Steven King on the picture?

eeuuuhh ....
...
useless ? let me re-read that lol
i never practice so i sometimes don't even know what i wrote the next day (in full)
hold on a minute
...
ah ME, useless, well ive been living at night since like 25 years and for some reason the last years it feels like everyone and the whole place is trying to force me into daylight, and i'm LITERALLY useless when i cant live on my rythm, especially during day
yes that's Stephen King, cat-person (ofcourse , lol) and he's part of the top 20 people in the world who were
"total failures and were never gonna make it"
so they should just have quit
how many times they must have heard that ?
no idea but a LOT lol
The question then would be: how many times have you heard that you're not a loser? And by whom? For my part, I have sometimes been told that I am strange with my odd ideas and that I should better distance myself from them. People don't like it when they don't understand you. It is basically one's own anger that one causes to oneself by not wanting to reveal one's understanding. And so you project the anger onto the other person and want to blame them for it. Basically one is not meant at all. But the ego clings to the insult. Completely unnecessary.
It seems that we like the pain that we cause ourselves and that we believe someone else is inflicting on us.
People like Stephen King or other weird characters are indeed sometimes so uninhibited and present their gruesome thoughts to the world in apparent bliss that one wants to punish them for it. The fascination of horror and disgusting ideas meets with rejection. I also feel this rejection, for example in the lines of Phillip K. Dick. Geniuses are known for their social inability to express their empathy. The constant circles around the shadowy are disturbing.
But we all want to be loved. And why not? It is an existential need.
So we better listen to the people who encourage us rather than discourage us. What do you think?
