HOW TO USE YOUR SKILLS ON THE STEEMIT PLATFORM?

Hello Steemians,

I want to share with some newbies how to begin your journey on Steemit,I have had private conversations with some of you and you honestly don't know how to begin. I realize most of you are not 'contentcreators" and you probably are even active on Facebook or Instagram.

Some of you have been creating broadcasts on Whatsapp and Facebook without any real direction,while a little percentage of you are actually experienced content creators. This post is basically to help you kick start your journey.

So the first thing you want to do is ask yourself what value would i be bringing to the steemit community? Yes you probably have heard the platform rewards you for creating content, however the rewards do not fall off the sky, you get 'paid' by other users who love your content. So being clear about how you want to add value and who it is you would be adding value to is important.

Lets say you are a graphics designer, there are a couple of graphic designers on the community using their skills to create beautiful avatars; you might want to check out the @steemgig tags.

Or

you are fashion enthusiast, you could create an account giving us fashion tips and designs etc.

Or

you may even be a sit at home mum with kids, your account could be about raising godly kids, nutrition for kids, kids fashion etc.

@paohlajane uses her skills as a trainer to add value to the steemit community.

@haejin uses is analytics skills to add value to the platform

@tim.clarke uses his photography skills to add value to the platform.

The point is whatever skills you have steemit is a great platform to give value and get handsomely rewarded for it.
You know God always uses the familiar to bless us. He uses what is in your hands not what is in your neighbours hands. I always say to people that what you have right now is valuable so use it.

In summary the best way to begin on @steemit platform is to access your life right now, skills, talents etc and share while building a community of people interested in your content.
