ISKRAMBOL

Feel the heat this summer seasons. At some places here at the Philippines are too hot. Even thou at my place is not, still we want to feel cool and warm. I remember my school days before long ago, I always save some of my "baon, coins so that I can buy Ice Scramble (Iskrambol) and I smile knowing that modern students loved to buy ice scramble too after their school hours.

I wanna share to you some photos I captured at the street showing ice scramble vendor.

It is typical to a Filipino to always smile and feel happy sold their merchandise, like this "manong" selling my favorite iskrambol. He use his improvise bike to sell at the front of the school while students are rushing going home after the whole day spending their time at school.

Scooping the ice scramble to a plastic cup, He ready the finish products when he knows that children is almost time to go home, so that it is fresh and not melting.

It is easy to make scramble if you like to make at home, you just mix the ingredients.
Mix evaporated milk or powder milk, banana extract, red food color and sugar.
Add in shaved ice and mix thoroughly. You may also use a blender.
It is good too if you want to add some toppings like chocolate or strawberry syrup, mini marshmallows, candy sprinkles, rice crispies or milk powder.

Now it's ready to taste the cold sweet chocolate flavor iskrambol and feel cold this summer seasons.
