Contest and Minnows

I am minnow steemitian. When I join steemit then I think that contest can not help and I could not win any contest. This is my thinking. One day my friend @artaddict tell me about a contest hosted by @mayowadavid and said me to participate. I think that I should try. I try to contest and win that contest as a second runner-up. I became happy. On the mid, I also participate in a contest hosted by @docmastery and sponsored by @akrid. Today I win that contest. I am third runner up of this contest.

After two winnings I realize that contest is really helpful for minnows. This the way in which they can get publicity. They can grow with the help of contest on steemit.
