ANIMAL PHOTOGRAPHY: AN ALBINO WATER BUFFALO

If you travel the Philippines especially in the rural and farm ares, you will see water buffaloes (carabao or kalabaw in Philippine dialect) almost everywhere because these are the animals that farmers are very dependent on their farming.

You will also notice that most of them have dark-colored skin. But this one and in some parts of Negros Island, there are "albinos" water buffaloes and they have pinkish skins. Here's one I found during my travel in Don Salvador Benedicto.

It looks as if it knows it is being photographed.

This here is the most common carabao you will see.
