UN(dis)TALENTED: Post more on Steemit thirtydayblacknwhite Challenge Update

If you struggle to post every day on steemit, here is a good way to get into the habit. @bxlphabet and @fitinfun are about halfway through the thirtydayblacknwhite Challenge and here is an update of how that is going.

We already have a post to tell you how to quickly get these posts ready to publish. The steemit fork thing meant that we had a few days off, but now we are back at it to very good results.

That last post linked above mentioned that we took old photo posts with good contrast and turned the photos to monochrome. In this post, you can see the before and afters of how some of those photos went.

Actually, you are seeing these in the order of "after" and then "before," so here goes.

This first photo was for @bxlphabet on Day Eight of the challenge.

It had a different crop for its original post for fridayskyblue:

Day Twelve has another parking lot shot with no cars. This was featured in the weekly spotlight post by @socalsteemit!

The original colored version did not get such good attention, but it is still very interesting. This is a scene in National City California and was posted to mondayred.

Another shot from National City California shows a local grocery store display.

This is @bxlphabet's way of saying he can still eat well in a food desert (so called).

This shot is from @bxlphabet's trip to Denver Colorado.

They love their Broncos over there!

And Day Eighteen has some more yummy and healthy food.

Maybe it is more appetizing in color?

The original color posts all took longer to do than the black and whites. These new edits are all going into the monomad daily contests by @monochomes, so the posts are doing double duty now.

Once the thirty day challenge is over, we will convert another 30 photos into monochrome and continue only posting to the monomad contest. These posts will need more text, but not too much. So we will again have thirty days of quick and easy posts and be part of a good community of photographers as well.
