What Steemit Means To Me: Fun! Friends!! Sbd!!!
Hello Friends,
Hmmm! What does Steemit mean to me? Nice question. Okay so I made my first ever vlog because of this #untalented-steemit contest...lolx. Its awesome coz I have been planning to start vlogging for some time now. Anyway, lemme give you guys a piece of myself. I didn't do the preachy type of video about Steemit. I only talked about myself. So permit me to be selfish a little bit today.
When I came to Steemit, one of the people I quickly noticed was @surpassinggoogle. You know why? I think like attracts like people. I came with a positive energy so it was only natural that I should meet such a guy who was full of life. He's a friend to many. An inspiration to all that come across him. And he has some Nigerian connections. Hmmm, what a guy?
I arrived here by accident actually. It was totally unplanned. I was already bored with every other social platform. They were all the same boring same boring everyday. So I was browsing for a change. I actually began noticing that most of the articles I was interested in reading were made on steemit. It means our SEO rankings on the google search engine is very tight. So I joined.
Luckily, I was opportuned to meet some wonderful Nigerians doing amazing things on the platform. Shout to @ogochukwu for setting up the Blue Waves Discord server. I met a lot of guys there that I now consider friends. They are too numerous to mention. From @tfame3865 to @fortune-inyang, @greenrun, @iloegbunamagnes etc. We have become a family.
Other Nigerians I have heard of their epic tales include @destinysaid, @gbenga, @ehiboss, @maryfavour etc. I also met a classmate of mine who happened to be one of the founding fathers of @airhawk-project. We know him as Oreva but his handle here is @drepo15. Correct guy he is.
On whether I have earned from this platform, I think you should check my wallet and see for yourself. Not to brag but I'm grateful for the number of blessings and gifts I have gotten. i'm also thankful for some of the contests I particiapate in regularly including @playfulfoodie's #marveloustales contest. I did it twice. I was 2nd the first time and 1st the 2nd time. (pun unintended). Lolx. I also got 40 Dalcs by taking 2nd position in the Airhawk-project dalecoin knowledge contest. I have won quite a few other contests here and there for which I'm happy. Contests keep me on my toes and I keep practicising anad fine-tuning my writing skills.
I think I'm already addicted to this platform. Where else can I get paid for writing? Where else can I meet such talented amount of people in a short time? Where else caan I feel free to express myself like this? Show me where and I promise you that I'll port. While you are searching, I just have to say "to hell with other social media. They are so boring!"

Any newbie on this platform that doesn't know @surpassinggoogle and his @steem-untalented gang, the person is still a very big learner. Lolx. I have benefitted alot from him: intellectually, artistically, comically, even financially. etc.
I believe we shall keep growing to amazing heights as we continue doing good works here and beyond. I will love to see your video for the contest soon. just try and make out time. Thanks so much for the resteem!

Yes!!! Steemit is a bae, unless you want to cheat, you don't need another bae....
Personally... What steemit is to mean is everything.... I mean everything.... If I should maje my Video.... It'll be funny to people if I tell them steemit is everything to me now and end the video..... Many reasons are attached to it
And that's just it...
I'll wait till night yo watch the abandoned videos of today...
Well.... Let's enjoy what steemit is to everyone of us....

Cheers man! I actually wish I have a champagne bottle now coz I feel like popping it as a toast to amazing people like you. Steemit means everything to me too. You won't believe that I wake up every morning to it. I sleep every night with it on my mind.
Its so fun that sometimes I don't remember to eat sef. Anyway, we are all going to the top bro. Keep being awesome man!
