Amazing adjustment that have happened since I joined Steemit #untalented initiated by @surpassinggoogle

Good day Steemians! I have been reading posts and I can feel the excitement of my fellow Steemians over @surpassinggoogle ‘s “untalented amazing adjustments Steemit has done in their lives”. Then, it hit me. I have to have my share over this topic — well, even if I am barely a week old Steemian.

Thank you very much Steemit for this avenue of airing our thoughts and to @surpassinggoogle for paving the way, having this amazing topic.

Upon reading some posts on this topic, i asked myself on what “Untalented Adjustments I Made After I Found Steemit”.

Well, I am that little goldfish who leaped out of the small bowl to take on the bigger bowl. I am that brave fishy who jumped on an “unknown” territory, got out of her comfort zone. Ready... 1-2-3!

I am doing a lot of online jobs actually. Jobs I do on my spare time. I am a housewife, FYI.

So spare time just means when I am done with household chores. Well, needless to say attending to the needs of my little one (my daughter) and my big one (my husband). LOL

Bored with the usual social media, online jobs have taken a major space in my spare time. Hello pay-to-click sites, surveys, samples, data entry, call reviews just to name a few.

I am happy that my precious spare time is not wasted on looking at the food my neighbor has posted on her timeline, or the petty quarrels of my batchmates, or the endless selfies my friends never grew tired of posting. I am happy that I am modestly compensated from all those online jobs I have been doing. The extra income is a good source to give presents to my loved ones without slicing the budget.

Plus, I actually gained some friends because of these online jobs. Some friends I personally know, or are either from the same country as mine or from other country that i only got to know virtually.

... and that is where Steemit came into picture. My sister @juwel is a Steemian and she was happy to share the site with me. Her friend @iyanpol12 was very welcoming in guiding me/us in this new world of Steemit.

From then on, my internet use was never the same. I have been constantly reading posts, researching, clicking and more. All because of Steemit.

Life outside of the internet has become more interesting too. I realized that I am hyper aware of the happenings around me. Like, hey, that is “steemable”. Or I could write a post on that. Or I need to capture that moment to share with Steemit. And so on...

My writing skills (uhm, please spare me on this claim of being skilled, lol.) which was put on hold for a loooonnngg time is now again being exercised. Like that rusted pen, the “writer” in me is slowly warming up to take on blogging at a different level. So thank you to Steemit as it became an avenue to sharpen my “pen”.

Compensation-wise, well, I have no take on that. Yet. As I have said, I am barely a week old Steemian. But then I am drooling over the paychecks received my fellow Steemians. Shoutout to @iyanpol12 @shula14 @juwel @saskia

With that said, i came across them — really nice Steemians. They have become an inspiration, and I am pretty sure to this community as well. Steemit allowed me to be more sociable and friendly, to give back and not only think of myself, to be creative. To inspire and be inspired.

So yes, I am a newbie. But after finding out about Steemit, it has already made amazing adjustments in my life. Keeping it positive, thumbs up to all the adjustments and changes Steemit has done to my life.
