EP. 15: University of Greatness - How to Stop Surviving and Start Living
I could also title this post “the secret to living beyond survival,” but I discovered that the secret to living beyond survival is no secret. So I am writing this as a guide, advice and template for myself on how I want to move from living to survive to living to become a blessing to my generation. So maybe I should have titled it “how I plan to live beyond survival”.
What is Living Beyond Survival?
Living beyond survival is having a mentality of more than enough; it’s as simple as that. Having more than enough in all aspect of life. The strive to discover your life purpose, and work towards achieving it, put you in a position of more than enough. You don’t even have to be in possession of great things to live more than enough; the mentality will put you there. You can actually have more than enough and still live to survive, this is why it’s linked to mentality.
What’s Wrong with Survival?
Living to survive is a selfish act because it put you in a position of thinking about yourself alone. People that live to survive don’t think of others because their mindset will be fixed at surviving and any other thing is uninteresting.
Living to survive isn’t good enough because it places a self limit on one and that result in living below your potentials. If someone with a survival mentality is offered an open opportunity to request for any amount of money they want maybe by a rich man, they will only ask for the one that can feed them today, tomorrow and the next day.
Living to survive is a sin against the universe, God and whatever supreme authority you believe in. If you take a minute to meditate on why you were born, you discovered it, but take no action to fulfill that purpose, you are committing sin against the one that created you for that purpose. If you buy a gadget at home and that gadget couldn’t fulfill the purpose of why you spend money to get it; that gadget and its manufacturer has committed a sin against you.
How To Stop Surviving and Start Living?
Give out what you want to come in: Living is giving; if you have stopped giving, you have stop living a long time ago. Giving involves helping and saving anything you could help or save that has life and potential.
Anything you give out, doesn’t really leave your life, it only went out from your hand to work for something you need in your life. So it's pretty much coming back. It's a life principle. Life has human beings would be up-side-down without the ability to help each other even animals do this so why won't we?
Change Your Mentality: you don’t have to be rich to live beyond survival, you only need to think in certain pattern and make sure that your current lifestyle isn’t affecting your ability to provide the needed assistance to the universe and people occupying it. If your survival mentality wouldn’t allow you help a talented friend get a push up in life, change it right way and then you will begin living.

That is actually my dreams and hope in life. To start living beyond survival so I can start sharing blessings to more people and most importantly, it is my dream to purchase an island or a large portion of land so I can restore or recreate the garden of Eden where all plants and animals can freely live without any worries of being cut and hunt down by humans.
People think that I am crazy and it is impossible for having such a huge dream. But I think I can. If I could learn how to build a successful business, maybe by age 50 I am able to do that. There is so much animal cruelty and abuse of resources in this world. We, humans, are consuming more than what we need. I'm afraid of what our future holds, what our planet looks like? will there be more than enough food, water, and shelter for our next generation? Will they be able to see flowers, trees, fruit tress, and animals? will they able to enjoy water from river, lakes, seas, and all? Will they be able to drink fresh water?
These are the questions I have in mind that creates my desire to recreate the garden of Eden. I don't want to survive. I want to start living to create greater things for others and for our world.
Wow, you amaze me with your dream of creating a garden of Eden. I believe you can do it, zero doubt here because i have similar dream here but mine is a bit different.
I'm planning on creating my own smart city from scratch and i have 70% of the information i need to publish my first thesis on the project.
I believe in you even if no-one does that doesn't change anything, please keep the faith alive and you will be great.

As you mentioned that you don’t have to be rich to live beyond survival. I want to say always live your own life rather you are rich or poor. Life is not to live on the ideas of other. You should have your ideas. I appreciate your post, thanks for sharing.
Thanks man, i love your idea of always living your own life based on your idea, however to improve fast we can also check out other people ideas and see the one that's working for them that we might adopt to improve our life as well.
