Parallel universes

Many people have spoken on the possibility of an alternative universe. But the thing is, that they are not within us. Look around. How many people do you meet everyday? Who are they? What do they do?
Have you ever thought that each of us lives in his own personal world? The way we interpet life depends on our culture, language we speak, childhood memories, previous experience and many other factors.
A photographer looking at the world through the lens of his camera speaks the language of light and shadows, he expresses himself with colors and form.
A musician has a lifepath of melody. His world is made of notes and sounds.
A financist lives in the universe of numbers and currencies, fighting his way on the economic arena.
As simple as that. Every human being is a parallel universe, with its own laws and values. And parallel means that they all exist in the same time and space. And none of them are identical.
Each of us is a center of his universe, which means that everything is happening just and only for you. Somehow you are the one who is bringing the events and people in your life.
So if the things are not going good, is it because you want it like that, or you just have got lost in somebody's else parallel universe?
