I feel so Blessed, Energised and Hopeful

Good morning people, I do not want to bore you, but want you to know how I spent my Friday to Saturday.

On A Friday 18/5/2018

It was a real scotching, sunny day, I spent most of my time indoor, until 5pm, I started getting prepared, I left home around some minutes to 6pm, and went straight to the place of Pentecost Pilgrimage; a spiritual where we celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Church and on the children of God especially as believers.

Guess What?

The Bus Driver, drove through an unfamiliar path, i started getting edgy, and eventually dropped me and ma fiance and a friend, who went along with me, at the wrong Bus Stop, I had to treck with ma friends for another 25 minutes, and it was like i have been trekking for 7 days, its was stressful, hilly and valleys, eventually, getting to the venue of the programme was not an easy experience at all, we had to be smart, and it was getting dark before we could get a a bus, simply because it was dark already, at last, we arrived at the venue at about 7:45pm.
The essence of this pilgrimage, if for us to raise our voices, hearts and minds to God through prayers and petitions, so that God could forestall peace, put an end to the incessant killing, maiming, kidnap and corruption and greed going on in our society, also that we could challenge ourselves to be productive, to work and pray for God does not reward laziness, we must love genuinely, and serve selflessly and above all do all to achieve, create values, live out our christian calling. We are charged to think about the consequences of our actions on our neighbours, doing these, our society will become a peaceful abode, there will accountability and transparency in our society.

The vigil was charged to the full, as there lots of songs of praise and worships, with wonderful ministrations from the choir, from 9pm the programme kicked off till 6am, there was never a dull moment, the talk, the homily(sermon), intercessory prayers, brought about a co-mingling of the heavens and the earth, prayerd were answered, heavens opened, and people were changed, we were also urged to love the Holy Spirit, commune with him for He is a person who is always longing for our relationship.

On a Saturday 19/5/2018

I got home around 6:45am, I couldn't catch a sleep until around 11:30am, I was busy, I need to tidy up a few things, so as to lesson my work load as the day goes by.
I slept very well from 11:50am till 2:00pm, after which I checked few updates on ma blog channel, so as to follow up on whatever is trending and new, it was just to update myself, then i went out to my fiance's place, we chatted, after which i went straight to Church, for my usual but extraordinary choir rehearsals, I am a lover of good music, church music, motivational, reality songs etc, because when all seems not to make meanings to me, music do help me find expressions in all that i do, and that is all that matters, in life. Find joy in all that you do,no matter what you are going through, have gone through or will go through.
whatever you attract, is what you become and it therefore becomes a substance of what you can give, happiness, sadness, negative thoughts and positive thoughts are products of habits, and are therefore contagious. I chatted with some friends that I haven't seen in long while

I returned from my choir rehearsal, around 7:25pm, I had dinner and went to the living room (parlour), to watch movies, I watched two movies eventually, i enjoyed myself, i had fun.

In summary, I prayed for country, myself, my family, friends, I praised God uncontrollably and my heart,mind and soul leapt for joy, i also enjoyed a full dosage of satisfying my musical appetite. I learnt the ultimate lesson that God knows about all of whatever we go through in life, above all He is always on top of our situations. Just don't think about yourself alone, think about the effects, the impacts of your decisions on the other people, the larger society. It will always be the hopeful me. What about you?
