Ulog 14: Dinner from Food Delivery, yummy!!!

Nowadays, we have all sort of food delivery here in our town, meaning you do not to get out of the house to purchase food, someone from the food delivery company will come right at your doorstep with your food in one piece.

It used to be only Pizza Hut and McDonald's, but with the trend of eating healthy food, fast food has become more obsolete and people want real homecooked food. Gradually, almost all restaurants in our small town here has food delivery service provided. You want healthy stir fry vegetable and rice, you have it. You want some soupy noodles, you have it. Varieties of cuisine are covered; Chinese, Indian, Malay, Mamak, Western, Arabian, etc, you name it, you have it.

Yesterday was a tiring day for me due to son was not feeling well. More of mental exhaustion than physical, therefore my husband suggested for food delivery instead of me cooking and needing to clean the kitchen after that. Well, what would I say except a BIG YES!!

Husband ordered a 'satay' set which comes with the delicious peanut sauce, side dishes like cucumber, onions and pressed steamed rice. I intended to cut down carbs so I just ate the meat and the vegetables. 'Satay' is charcoal barbecue meat, usually is made of either chicken and beef.

It was super delicious because after you had been eating own's homecooked food for sometime, you crave for something different. Mayyyybe not as healthy because I could taste a lot of sugar in the meat and sauce, but my stomach was super happy. 😋
