Tarot of the Week #19 (7 Card Past, Present, Future)

Can Mr. Dreamtree Get a GOOD Reading, Just Once?

Well, I really wish our posts could be consistently positive but, that isn't how real life works. Larry Dreamtree did this 7 Card Past, Present, and Future spread just a moment ago and......................... well, looks like more of the same crap, lol.

The top row of cards, listed from left to right, denote an Actual Past, His View of the Past, and what was Learned from the Past. The inverted Death Card is Larry's actual past. He was forced into transition concerning Steemit and having an online presence. Just recently, he learned that too many changes happened to Steemit and Discord that don't really help his cause. All of his friends on Discord have magically vanished, he needs a code to find them and Steemit is as ineffective as usual. The 5 of Wands means that he viewed that same past event as being problematic due to competition. Which is true of course. What he learned is the inverted 7 of Pentacles, which means the rewards for his punishing efforts bear little to nothing.

The center card denotes the Present, of course. This time, being the inverted Queen of Pentacles. which means Mr. Dreamtree is focused on financial independence even if it results in some sort of home/work related conflict. Having spent his last money to obtain internet at his mother's house, he is solely responsible for paying for it. The whole point in doing all of this was to make those sweet, sweet "internet monies". Though, with the way things are going, that may not work, thus leading to conflict. The last thing his mother would want is to have to fork her money over for failure. Moving on....

These last 3 cards denote a New Influence about to enter his life, how He Will be Affected by said Influence, and the Outcome for this cycle of things. The New Influence, is the inverted King of Wands, which isn't an uncommon card to appear in his readings. This person is bitter and fettered in orthodoxy. This person does not like how the world is changing around him, as the old ways worked for him but, the new ways do not. This can cause one to lash out, naturally but, hey, why fix what isn't broken when folks are happy with the way things are?

Apparently, he will be affected by this new influence and enter the Justice Card, which represents balance. By going through the bitter stage, balance will somehow manifest itself. You have to journey through the good and bad to bring about the delicate beauty of balance.

The Outcome Card, the inverted 6 of Cups , means that in spite of everything, he will be emotionally trapped in the same cycle of nostalgia that has always been for him. This card is most easily associated with being unable to let go of past emotional attachments. Hard to move forward though when no new person wishes to have any emotional attachment with you. The tragic side-effect of modern "Love" is everyone wants it without "strings attached". Yeah, humanity is doomed and rightfully so? Sorry, Larry, no happiness for you, as usual. Why don't you just go out and commit suicide, for pity's sake? (kidding, I love you for someone who isn't even real, ha ha) #tarottuesday
