SP Delegation Contest Photo

First Things First...

Concerning the 2000 SP delegation offered by @mountainjewel and why it is that I would be a good candidate? #ihaveblueeyes

Easy, dude.

For one thing, I don't care about "making" crypto myself. I came upon this realization when 6 months of building all of this value up for myself that was somehow devalued seemingly overnight. My account was once worth $50+ USD then I awoke one morning to find it was worth $25. When this happened, I decided to reevaluate my purpose here on Steemit.

Being supportive of artists and future thinkers, I decided to take all of my Steem and SBD then put into my SP, so I have an upvote that at least counts for something. Since then, I have put more of a focus on finding lesser known artists and giving them upvotes/resteems. For I know what it is like being the "starving" artist. That is my life. You can follow the ups and downs of this lifestyle here. Be prepared! It is a cosmic mix of positives and negatives. Hey, sort of like real life?

Then @friendly-fenix brought this delegation contest to my attention and put forth the proposition that I was big-hearted enough to handle the responsibility. Just having gone through the recent change in my perspective, it seemed like a "no-brainer" to at least give it a try. Not being selected isn't even an issue. Whatever happens won't change what I do with my account. Any "profits" that come my way will inevitably be put into my SP. This shall remain true until my laptop gives me the "middle finger" and my days of online presence come to an end. (Not to worry, this Frankenstein monster of a laptop was put together by a friend, not a corporation, so it should withstand the test of time.)

I would so totally be stoked to get the delegation. It would help me spread the love and perhaps allow me to comment more often? When I only had the 30SP, it seemed like I could only comment about 3-4 times a day which is really limiting. It would be much better if I could comment on all of the posts that I upvote/resteem. Especially considering it is winter now and there is little to do inside at the moment. May as well be online spreading crypto love to those I feel deserve it. It is the least I could do with my online toiling.

Best of luck to all of those who enter the contest! I hope the right people are delegated the SP. <3

Photography

Oh, snap, right? I am supposed to share a photo! Picking out which photo to use is going to be a hard one, because we have several thousand in the ol' "Archives" as it were. Most of them are pretty good and worthy of sharing. This was a hard decision to make but, we decided to go with this one, right here....

DSCN3588.JPG

It is a waterfall that comes from one of the tributaries that feeds the Payette River that flows from Northern Idaho toward Boise. This was a place that Dreamtree stopped on his journey of self-discovery in 2012 when the TV had some of us convinced that the world might end. Dreamtree did not think the world would end but, just in case he was wrong he sure wanted to live and love life before it happened. What better way than to live in a van and travel with the only limit to your freedom being the money in your bank account? Truthfully, that $3,500.00 didn't actually last that long, lol. Ah, memories. We would love to do something like that again but, he would need to sell a painting at a really good price for something like that to manifest.

Whether I win this contest or not, I hope you at least enjoyed the post and the image. Is this 500 words? Well, we hope so, I am not going back and counting them individually. :D

Much Love, Yo!

Thank you for your entry Dreamtree! I love that waterfall and the story going along with it 💙 we appreciate you sharing about yourself here and I’m sorry the RC system now makes it that newbies can’t hardly interact... it’s no bueno. Wishing you the best on your journey in the universe and thanks for your entry!!

Thanks for the notification. At least with the 63SP I have now I can comment a lot more, which is what I really wanted to be doing all along. Best to you in making your decision, I know these sort of decisions are not easy ones to make. Much love, yo!

Nice entry! What's even better is the photo! That is an amazing waterfall. One of the things we say is "GET OUT and live life outside your box." What you said really connects with us. You do have to live like there is no tomorrow. You know, do amazing things, care about others, and have fun.

Good luck on the contest!

Thank you! I feel I am taking a page from "Gonzo" journalism in that I am interjecting myself into the story, or rather, that I am the story? It can only get more interesting from here, as my circumstances are always changing. Who knows what is next on this crazy adventure until "the man" "brings the hammer down" on this whole parade? Glad you enjoyed it! That was the best photo out of 12 attempts and even turned it into a drawing...

Too bad the pic of the drawing isn't on par with the actual waterfall. That is the difference between cellphone pics and pics from an actual camera. Hope all is well. Much love, yo!

I don't about that. I have taken some pretty amazing photos with my cell phone. Take a look at this page and tell me which is cell phone and which is a professional camera.

I will remember to do that tomorrow, it is chilly out here and about time to get to camp and under the sleeping bag. Goodnight!

We hammock camp so I completely understand.

They are all great pictures! I particularly dig the one on the right with the mountains and the clouds scattered about in that pattern. What a time and place to bear witness to. Thanks for sharing, friend!

Thanks for looking! That one photo was by Scott and his Sony A-6000 in Yosemite. It was amazing.

I have never been to Yosemite. Wonder what it is like this time of year? Probably too cold and rainy for this camper, lol.

Oh, and I love the painting.
