#ulog 20th| My Tofu Sisig with a Twist😋
How's everyone today guys? Here i am again for another Easy Cooking Tutorial.
Introducing my own version of Tofu Sisig. Sisig is a popular style of cooking for pork's head part. To be cooked on a sizzling plate is the common features of this food. They say that pork has the most numerous recipe from their head to foot. Sounds so intriguing huh?
But now a days it was evolved on a new level that anyone can try. So you better watch out for this. I just saw this first on a facebook post and i give it a try with my own style of cooking. I love experimenting as i said before lol!
TOFU SISIG
Here's the ingredients:
4 pcs of tofu blocks
3pcs of green chili pepper or finger chili
2 small White onion
5 cloves of garlic
I sachet pack of Mayonaise
1 sachet of pork seasoning
Powdered pepper
Lemon
Instructions:
1.Cut into cubes the tofu and soak into a separate bowl with water, salt, pepper and green chili flakes. Set aside.
2.Prepare the garlic, onion, and green pepper minced.
3.On a frying wok, fry the tofu till golden brown and set aside.
4.On the same frying wok sautè onion, garlic, green pepper and the fried tofu. Add the mayonaise, pork seasoning, powdered pepper and half of lemon juice.
5.Turn off the heat and ready to serve while it's hot.👌
Personal Review
Hope you guys can try this, my version was a little bit spicy than the ordinary recipe. (i love spicy food sometimes). It really depends on your tastebuds if you want more chili or not. On the other hand, i love the tingling sour taste of the lemon juice. I like the smell when i poured it on the tofu while still on the heat! Yummy😋
