Great job on gardening! I used to eat chayotes back when I was in the Philippines, as it's always available. Unfortunately, I can't find them anywhere here in Woolworths or Coles or even IGA Foodland, unless I go to Adelaide, then I will be able to buy some.

Thanks for the tip on composting. Haha!!! I used to have a large compost tumbler or bin, but I didn't know how to use it, or how I would be able to dig it up and mix the compost from time to time. In the end, my husband just threw it in the bin (like all of it) since neither of us knew how to go about it anyway. Worms creep me out, so I guess, I can never be successful in gardening. I'm thinking just buy pots of plants and flowers, and regularly water them. No need to even plant them on the ground. Will that be okay? What is your advice?
