Today, the last Saturday in the month of June. Although no academic activity is scheduled to hold today yet I woke up early to go for environmental sanitation which used to take place every last Saturday of the month and this is the avenue members of my Hostel use for clearing the bushes around our hostel every month. We worked for almost four hours today before we finish clearing the bushes around our hostel.

     I was very tired when I finish clearing the portion allocated to me, I can't withstand the tiredness than to take a nap. On waking up, I notice everywhere is silent, only to find out that everyone has left for a church program with the theme “the spirit of wisdom.” I then decide to be a partaker of the knowledge that is about to be shared in the program instead of staying lonely at home.

     Fortunately for me, I was lucky to enter the church immediately after the speaker mounted the podium. These are the points I grabbed in his speech:

• First, he defined wisdom as the ability to judge correctly and to follow the best cause of action base on knowledge and character. He continues by saying the Greek name of wisdom to be “Sophia” which is in order way refer to something tangible.
• He also established a fact that only wisdom is capable of transforming common things to uncommon ones. He proved his point by using a scenario of pupil been thought a particular topic in class, he said even though both of them understood what they were thought, but it requires wisdom to apply what they are thought to make a brilliant pupil difference from other pupil who only understand what they are thought and fail to apply wisdom.
  This is where he came up with an interesting question which goes does. "Which one should come first between understanding and wisdom?" Many said understanding should come before wisdom while others opposed it. Although I concur with understanding should come before wisdom but I like to know what you, my fellow steemian think should come first between understanding and wisdom. Thanks for your contribution.
